make a sub-category inherit its parent settings by default was created by Yves Lacroix
Found the solution: a check box in the configuration called "Access Level Inheritance"
Hello,
I could not find any comments in the forum so here is an obvious request.
From the back-end, when creating a sub-category, it seems that we must reenter all of the access parameters from zero instead of starting from the parent category's settings. It feels quite inefficient and prone to errors. If I am mistaken I would be glad to know the proper procedure.
The same situation for documents. I cannot find how to give the document the "same access as its category".
Thank you

Replied by Mr. Dam on topic make a sub-category inherit its parent settings by default
Enabling Edocman configure option: "Access Level Inheritance" will solve this idea
Thanks
