        It would be great if you could add this very useful Joomla 3.9.x feature. The action log is based on this project 
    Recording Actions logs
 where you should find some further references from.

        I am happy to hear that you agree that is a good idea...
I believe the intention behind of Action logs is to capture of all possible activities in Joomla regardless if these occur at the backend or the frontend. These activities should include the logged in front user and admin/managers in a backend. I use currently few of these components that already implemented this feature and they capture in both places.

        Yes, we may implement the first version of Action log feature to record the Add/edit/delete documents and categories
