Hi. I wish you add the feature that show a alert message like this: you are uploading a document publicly. Are you sure you want proceed?.
If user click on OK then document will be uploaded otherwise he click on Cancel to comeback to document upload form and edit it.
This is very useful when someone upload a document as public instead assign it to a specific user. An additional control to avoid to assign document to all users but this is a private.
Obviously make that message translated by ini language file.
I hope you add this feature.

Yes please add this feature because many times it happened that i forget to assign user and i published a private document as public. You can add also the option on backend component to show or not this message so any admin configure it like he wants.
