I’m happy to announce the release of Documents Seller version 7.4.1! This is a maintenance release contains mostly technical improvements as listed below:
1. Custom Fields Improvements
- Added support for 3 new custom field types: Url, Email and Tel
- Improve custom fields API for better code and easier to add support more custom fields in the future
- Improve SQL field type, display the text of the selected option instead of value when that custom field is displayed for the order (in email and email tags)
- The path to field layout is now cached, so it will be faster when the same layout is used multiple time on same page load.
2. Bring support for child template
This release bring fully support for Joomla child template. When the system looks for layout, it will first look for that layout in the active template, if not found, try to find from it's parent template (if the active template is a child template) and finally, fall back to the layout inside the component
3. Updated to use new Joomla Toolbar API
We updated code in the extension to use new Joomla Toolbar API. That will help preparation for future, mean the extension will continue working well with future releases of Joomla when the old API is deprecated and removed
4. Updated TCPDF Library
The TCPDF library uses in the extension to generate invoices PDF is updated to latest version.
