No order confirmation during testing

Hi!
I have set up PayPal Sandbox for testing purposes. I can use it to place test orders, which works fine. However, I do not receive an order confirmation with a download link or an invoice.
Send download link via email is enabled.
Notification email is entered.
The invoice feature is activated.
In Papal Sandbox, I entered a URL for immediate payment confirmation:

But so far, unfortunately, no confirmation has arrived by email.
What could be the reason for this?
I am using 4SEF. In the extensions, I have selected “bypass” for DMS. Should I activate the SEF settings in the DMS configuration? Because it says: “You only need to change the settings on this tab if you are using sh404 on your site.” 4SEF is the successor to sh404sef.
Can I also test an entire order process with the Basic PayPal plugin parameters and test mode?

Hi Christian

- You do not need to configure IPN URL. DMS registers the IPN it wants to use for each order itself
- PayPal sandbox is not reliable. Sometime it works, sometime it does not. So better, please test it directly using PayPal Live mode
