Receiving error code when using front end upload

I get the following error when trying to upload from the front end.

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'ORDER BY tbl.ordering ASC LIMIT 0, 10' at line 4 SQL=SELECT tbl.* FROM ura_dms_categories AS tbl WHERE tbl.published=1 AND tbl.parent= ORDER BY tbl.ordering ASC LIMIT 0, 10
