Get IP Address from client on downloading file

Hi,

Before I buy the Document Seller module, I want to know if the following is possible: As soon as somebody downloads a file, is it possible to save that user's IP address? I want this feature for free downloads as well, and people must be able to download without registration.

I hope somebody knows the answer.

Unfortunately, the extension doesn't collect IP address of customers (and free downloader) at the moment. So if you really want it, we will need to customize the extension to collect the data. However, in this case, you will have to pay us an extra 20$ for the customization.

So please think more about it before making decision

If I buy the normal Documents Seller right now from your website and implement that one already to my site, will I be possible to upgrade it with the modified version? In that case I'll just start with the normal documents seller.
