Is there a way to set or configure multiple purchases of a single document. I have software available for download for a fee, but if the buyer wants to buy 3 copies, I would like for them to set quantity and then update the cart.

I did receive an answer and it was this is not possible in the current version. There are 2 items that would be extremely nice to have:
  1. Multiple purchases of a document. I sell software licenses, not the software and this is where it would be beneficial.
  2. Resend download email to purchaser. People loss things and it would be nice to have resend option

My workaround was to create several purchase options, 1, 2, 3 & 5. this covers just about every purchase option needed. You can take a look at my site www.accustudio.com and look at the ArchSymb section.

To be honest, I don't have any plan to implement the option #1. However, option #2 is available (I don't remember in what version I added support for it)

How do I resend the download link email? I'm not clear on how to do this. I have the latest version 3.5

Go to Documents Seller -> Orders, click on the checkbox next to the order you want , then click on "Send Email" button in the toolbar and the confirmation email will be sent

Just so you know, my client requested this feature as well. They want to sell multiple licenses for a document. A quantity field would be required for their project.

I am looking into this to add to a client site atm and I can say that Option 1 would be the clincher as they also require selling multible copies of item, any chance this may be revisited in the future?

My solution for the "additional copies" issue was to create a custom field called "Additional Copies" where it requires and integer and charges [FIELD_VALUE]*9.99 or whatever your additional copies cost. The default value for this field should be zero.
