Max download setting not working

Hello

I installed Document Seller but can't seem to figure out how to set a Document so that it can only be downloaded x number of times.

I have the Document set for max 2 downloads.
But when I log in as a user to download the file, it lets me download it infinite times.

How can I ensure the max is used?
For user info I have it collecting the First and Last name plus it collects the email address

It does show that the download occurred.. but it just doesn't seem to stop it after the max has been met.

Are you talking about free or paid document ? Could you please send me FTP account and Joomla administrator account of your site so that I can check it for you and let you know the reasons ?

Sorry I went and emailed the info to you a few days ago, I don't think you got it though. Yes I want to limit the amount of times a person downloads a free file.

Hi

For the current version, the max download limit seting doesn't work for free documents (It works for paid documents). I am working on new version of the extension now and will make this setting works for free documents, too .

The new version will be released in the up-coming two weeks .
