Third party payment gateway option with eWay?

The current eWay plugin requires the collection of credit card info on my site. I would rather use eWay's third party payment option, where the security issues are dealt with by eWay rather than be me. Do you plan on making the eWay plugin able to do this?

We don't have a plan to add support for this payment gateway in the future, so in this case, if you really want to use it, you will need to find someone to develop it for you

I would also like to be able to use the third-party payment option. Otherwise our site is not secure for customers.
Eway have a new "Responsive Hosted Page" built into their Rapid 3.1 API.

I spoke to Eway this morning, and they are willing and happy to assist with development.

Is there any possibility this could happen, soon?

I didn't realise Event Booking couldn't support it so the product won't do payments I need.
