Changing display order of documents was created by Lonnie Lazar
It appears DMS displays documents within their respective categories in ascending order by document ID. For example ID 1, ID 2, ID 3, etc. Is there a file that can be modified to reverse the order of display so that the most recently created documents display at the top of their respective categories?

is it better to send an email with this kind of question or is the forum the proper place for it? it would seem this is a fairly straightforward thing to configure with an edit to the proper php file, and maybe even an worthwhile thing to build into a later version of the admin backend for the component.

Hi
Yes . You can change ordering of documents . Simply go to documents management screen, clicking on "Ordering" column header, then you can change ordering of documents by using up-down icon or enter order value into the textbox next to each document .
Thanks,
Tuan
