Terms & Conditions for Free document

Hi.

We are using Document Seller to sell documents online to non-registered customers but for customers who pay us a monthly retainer fee, we register them as a specific group and allow them to download for free by giving them 100% discount.

Unfortunately this throws up 2 issues...

1. Because they bypass the page to enter their contact details, they are not required to tick the "Terms & Conditions" check box. Our terms & conditions forbid reproduction of documents and forbid downloaded documents to be sold on to third parties, so it is vital to us that users are required to comply with the T's and C's.
2. No e-mails are sent to the administrator informing us that a download had taken place so we are unable to measure usage. The orders log shows one or two free downloads but we know that other customers have made downloads but there is no record.

These are the only issues we are having with what is otherwise a great extension. Is there anything that you can do or perhaps there is a workaround we have overlooked?

Unfortunately, the features you are asking for are not available in the extension. When you give discount 100% to users, they can simply click on the download button to download the documents. The system also doesn't send email.... (unlike the "true free documents" - documents with the price set to 0) .

In this case, I think you will have to find a developer to help you to customize code to make it works in the way you want (this developer will have to know Joomla programming) .
