Columns/ Tables Don't Work

Hi,
When I create a menu in this way "Category -> Column Layout" it is supposed to display all the products in column. In config I have "Number of Columns in Column Layout = 2". Nonetheless, the number of columns remains as one column.

Alternatively, I thought I could use a table (Category -> Table Layout) but I don't see where the table rows and columns are configurable.

Any help is appreciated.

Found out how to fix it. Go to Components>Documents Seller>Categories and click on the category where you want column or table format. There is a setting for Category Layout (default/ columns/ table).

Weird place to put this, but I did find it and fix the problem.

FYI- the number of columns is specified in the Configuration> Themes page

I have documents listed by table, and have set the number of columns in the Themes tab to "2".
Items appear in one column, and I also get a blank column.
If I set the number of columns to "3", I get two columns and a blank column.
The blank column takes up a third of the window, and makes the page look silly.

Is this a bug?

Can I fix the problem?
