First off, thanks for a great Joomla extension.
Out of the box though, there are a few functionalities missing that would make it a truly awesome, and more useable, extension.
- Custom fields in Document - the documents I want to sell would greatly benefit from the ability to show information other than price, title etc. in the table layout. I know I could use meta tags, but I'd like the information to be sortable (author for example, or duration) and meta tags aren't suitable for a lot of the fields I'd include.
- Reviews and ratings - allowing users to rate and leave reviews for each document would be awesome and is practically expected by ecustomers these days.
- Ability to purchase multiple copies of a document - the licence of the files I want to sell will only allow one hard copy at any one time. In order to have 2 hard copies, 2 must be purchased. At the moment, the extension only allows 1 copy of any document to be placed in the cart. Forcing multiple visits to purchase the same document again will result in lost sales.
- Prices and total in cart module - just having the title in the cart module isn't much use. Customers need to be able to see the price of each item and the total.
If anyone knows an easy way to accomplish any of those things, please let me know!
