How do I remove the text saying 'Documents'?

At the top of the page with my list of files there is a folder thumbnail and the word Documents.

How do I remove this?

I would like to remove the thumbnail completely - and maybe change the word Documents to something more meaningful.

To change the word Documents to something else, you can go to Documents Seller -> Translation, find the text and change it.

To remove the thumbnails, you will need to edit the code alitle. Please send me the link to the page and I will tell you what file need to be modified to remove it .

Thanks, I removed the word Documents successfully using Documents Seller > Translation.

As for the thumbnail, which code needs editing? PHP, HTML or CSS? It is difficult me to share the link as the website is not published online yet.

Perhaps I could share the code instead?

You don't need to edit the code - just a bit of lateral thinking

Create a blank 1x1 pixel png and call it blank.png. Upload this to the images/dms/categories directory. It should then appear in your Categories Thumbnail list when you edit the category. Select blank.png and save your category.

Thank you the blank 1x1 pixel technique worked well. However, the icon I wanted to change was not a category but the folder icon at the top of the page next to the word 'Documents'. Looking at the HTML I worked out how to change it.

I went into the file manager to: components/com_dms/assets/images/icons/32x32/folder.png

I created a new 1x1 pixel png called folder.png and uploaded it over the existing folder.png.

And that did the trick.
