Import feature? was created by Randy Byers
I have large zip files that I would like to sell.. so I ftp the files to the correct subfolder.. I assumed that the import feature would tell the file manager that there are now files that can be displayed in the category list, but they are in the Document manager not the "files manager".
The files are too big to load with the file manager, so what's the trick to import the ftp files in to the file manager not the document manager? I need to tell the document manager that there are files to display, but they are not available unless I up load a smaller file into the file manager.

So was my question unclear? When I read all the reviews, it was clear that you could sell anything not just docs and pdfs.
How do you import large zip files like media files that are larger than 10mgs that need to be ftp to the server? I would like to sell videos with this component.
Why would you have an import option that will not import large files in to the file manager.. Is this a silly question or am I missing something.. This seems like a silly over site from a development side of things..
I would like to start to use this component, but it is unusable to me if I cannot import large files.

Hi Randy
Please follow the steps below :
1. Upload the file via FTP to the correct folder (the folder which you setup in Document Path config option) .
2. Go to Documents Seller -> Documents, create a new document. On this page, the system will list all the files you uploaded in a dropdown and you will be able to choose it for the document .
Sorry for lately response. It is holiday in our country these days (we will come back to normal work on Wednesday next week) .

Thank you Tuan.. Okay I got it now.. I did not realize the drop-down menu automatically picked up the files in the config path without the import.. I had my files in a subfolder off of the path thinking i needed to import the files..
Thank you Tuan,, you are awesome! have a great holiday..
