Search configuration

I would like to make some changes to the way the search looks. In particular I would like to remove Categories from the search so that people can just search using keywords. Is this possible?

I have uploaded the search extension mod_dms_seach.zip but can't see where I can make changes to 'search'.

Please have a look at modules/mod_dms_search/tmpl/default.php and remove the section you don't want
