mod_dms_documents URL seems wrong?

I have configured mod_dms_documents to display 10 recent documents.
The problem is that the url looks like:
http://mysite/joomla/orders/view_document/2-free-personal-document-1
When I navigate via the categories the URL looks like
http://mysite/joomla/categories/view_document/2-free-personal-document-1
When a user clicks on the 1st URL the are directed to the login prompt - I don't want this. Is this a bug or a config issue?
