Free downloads not working

When i select in settings that for free downloads the user must register and click save and close the drop box defaults back to public. Also there is no download button on the frontend of the site.

Please help. i am new to Joomla.

it working now which is great but the buttons for download seem to display the code dms_download instead if just download. How do i change this? I assume it is under translation tab but it doesn't seem to do anything when i swap from overrides to en-GB.

Hi i still have not had an answer on this, please help as the buttons and the descriptions on my site aren't showing the correct works as described below

also the columns are not working, i have two documents loaded and they are not showing in two columns, rather its just one column.

i fixed the language problem by reading another topic, just cant work out the columns, i want all documents to be displayed in two columsn as each ebook published takes up too much room on the page, rather have two columns and also i would like the text description to be next to the image rather than underneath, how do i do that?

1. Please make sure you set the layout type for the category to "Columns Layout"

2. Go to Documents Seller -> Configuration, , in Themes tab, set "Number of Columns in Column Layout" to 2

After that, it should work as expected !
