02nd June 2021- New version 1.19.9 - Mass Download feature

The Edocman developer team are proud to announce the release of Edocman 1.19.9. This is a tenth release for the 1.19.x series of Edocman with new improvements.

What's new in Edocman 1.19.9

1. Mass Download
Mass Download allows users to download multiple documents in only one step in a single temporary zip file. From Documents list or Document details pages, you can add documents into the Mass Download List.



As you can see in above pictures, they are Documents listing and Document Details layouts, user can add documents to Mass Download List easily.
Note: We have a module called: Edocman Mass Download Summary which is used to show number of documents in Mass Download list of current user.

Note: You should enable Edocman configure option Enable mass download to use this feature at frontend side


New layout: Mass Download list, this layout is used to show all documents in Mass Download list of current user.

From this layout, user can download all documents in a single zip file, they also can remove documents that they don't need too.
In case the configure option: Collect Download information is enabled, user will need to enter their Name and Email before they can download document.

2. Added a configuration that allows you to choose whether to append an unique number before or after the file name to avoid overwriting
In case you don't want to overwrite existing files, an unique number will be added into uploaded files, please select position (Before/After) of file name that the number will be added

3. Add option to select access groups when add/edit document at frontend side
New improvement in "Document Edit functionality" at frontend side
