The Edocman developer team are proud to announce the release of Edocman 1.25.0. This is a first release for the 1.25.x series of Edocman with new improvements and bugs fixed.
What's new in Edocman 1.25.0
1. Fully compatible with Joomla 5
Joomla 5 will be released soon. The most important “feature” of Joomla 5.0 is removing deprecated code. This makes Joomla future-proof. And from now, you can install and using Edocman on Joomla 5 normally.
 

2. Add option to keep or remove folders when categories deleted
This is new configure option in Edocman, it allows you to keep or remove category's folders when they are removed. In case you want to keep files of categories in their directories. You can select No with configure option: Remove category folder when it is removed

3. Add tool to remove edocman documents in root folder manually
This tool allows you to remove the whole files and sub-folders of Edocman Documents root path with one click. It helps you restructure your document storage when its capacity large and contains many unused documents.
 

4. Other improvements

• Fix issue when save&close items at Backend
• Check file before downloading for viewing to reduce capacity of temporarily folders
• Improve security function
