The Edocman developer team are proud to announce the release of Edocman 1.23.0. This is a first release for the 1.23.x series of Edocman with new improvements and bugs fixed.

What's new in Edocman 1.23.0
1. Improve Edocman Search layout
From Edocman 1.23.0, you can setup menu to Edocman Search layout to show the search form within component layout. In previous versions, you only can use Edocman Search module to show the Search form in template position.

In menu parameters form, you can select to show search result in one of 3 layouts

• Default
• Table
• Columns

All words Any words Exact Phrase


The search layout provides 3 search options: 

• All words
• Any words
• Exact Phrase

2. Add option to export all documents to CSV file
In this Edocman version, we add option to export all documents to CSV file, the CSV file will contain: Document Titles, Original Files and Category Titles. You can find the menu to export documents to CSV through Horizontal menu at Backend of component.


3. Add Download Trend graph at Edocman Dashboard (Joomla4)
We add Download Trend graph at Dashboard of Edocman - Joomla 4, it allows you to see download trend based on various time periods, for example: 12 months, 9 months, 6 months..etc

In future versions, we will add more filter options to help you get a more detailed and overview of the amount of downloads of documents on your Edocman system.

4. Edocman Modules improvements

• Improve Edocman documents module - add option to filter documents by User
• Improve Edocman Statistic module
• Improve Edocman Calendar module
• Improve Edocman TreeCats module
• Improve Edocman Content link plugin

5. Other improvements
Modal boxes (Login to download, Collect download information) have been improved to make them to work properly on both Joomla 3.x, Joomla 4.x with various using ways.

6. Various bugs fixed
Also in this version, we fix various bugs from previous Edocman versions

Thanks a lot!
However, I think the plugin "Content - Edocman Category" does not work anymore with this version. I had to disable it. Otherwise I get an error Class "JFatory" not found in /plugins/content/edocmancategory/edocmancategory.php (50).

Could you please have a look?

Edit if anyone else needs an urgent fix: the plugin works again when the typo is corrected: /plugins/content/edocmancategory/edocmancategory.php
Change the word JFatory to JFactory
