The Edocman developer team are proud to announce the release of Edocman 1.13.0. This is a first release for the 1.13.x series of Edocman with new improvements.

What new is Edocman 1.13.0

1. Add Edocman User log action plugin (For Joomla 3.9.x)
As of Joomla 3.9, Joomla introduced an action logging system. From Edocman 1.13.0, we release Edocman log plugin, it provides an infrastructure to create an audit log of activity performed on Edocman system and can be fine tuned to the site admin's preferences.

Navigate to Users → User Actions Log to access the dashboard.

From this screen a Super User has a global overview of all activities performed on a site by users and has the ability to download, edit, delete documents.

2. Add migrate tool from Phoca Download
This add-on is used to migrate data (Categories, Documents) from Phoca Download to Edocman extension

3. Add option to list related documents by Tags
From this version, we add option to list related documents by Tags. That option is placed at Edocman Configuration -> Tab: Themes -> Field: Related documents having same tags



4. Add Path value of Categories automatically
Once the configure option: Use Herachical Folder Structure is turned on, when you edit category, you will able to enter value for field: Path, Edocman will create folder based on value of that field. From this version, if you don't enter value for that field, Edocman will create it automatically.

5. Show Link icon with External link documents
From this version, we replace "Folder" icon by "Link" icon with External link documents
