Field 'company' does not show up in invoice

Hello,
as i wrote in the subject, i am not able to get the contents of the field 'company' of the customer's payment adress to be printed out in the invoice-pdf.
In the databases' table 'eshop_adresses' the field 'company' is provided with the correct data which the customer has put inside the form-field company. But it is not part of the tag [PAYMENT_ADDRESS] used in the invoice layout.
I have already tried to use the tags [PAYMENT_COMPANY] and [COMPANY] with no result.
How do i get the company on top of the payment adress in the invoice? What am i missing?

Thank you for submitting the ticket here. Can you please go to EShop -> System -> Configuration -> Layout tab, at "Payment Address Format", enter the tag [PAYMENT_COMPANY] there, then Save the Configuration and test again?

thank you for your fast and helpful answer. This did it for me. The solution was hiding in plain sight all the time. Somehow, i was thinking that the adress format was only for HTML-rendering.
