Import Pro - Tax class was created by Impression eStudio
Hi,

I import products using Import Pro successfully. The only problem is that despite I set the column product_taxclass_id and I see in the product data in back-end that the product indeed is assigned to the correct tax, when I see the product in the front-end there is no tax in the price.
I have to go to the tax administration and add the "All products" and save in order the assignment to take place. But luckily there is only one tax class.
Is something that needs to be done to avoid this extra step?

Thanks

Hi there,

Normally, after you importing with product_taxclass_id field, the tax should be applied to the products automatically. There is no extra step.

Sincerely, Giang

It was my fault. There was a space after the name of the column product_taxclass_id in the Excel file, so the system could not understand it. Possibly you would like to trim the names of the columns to avoid tricky cases like mine.
