Hello Tom,
You just need to register an PayPal account with PayPal, then wait for it until it is activated and you can use that your PayPal account to receive payment.
If you have any questions related to PayPal account, please contact with their supports.
Sincerely, Giang

Giang,
When I test my shop and try to place an order, I can't get past step 4. When I click to proceed to the next step (payment), I get back to the first step of the order completion and I have to start all over again. The only payment option activated is Paypal.
Can you explain this behaviour?
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Giang,
I can succesfully use paypal on my shopnow, thanks for your assitance!
One more question though: I would like to accept credit cards and debit cards (Maestro) as well. I was under the impression that that would be possible with the standard paypal plugin but the only option now is Paypal.
Is this something that can be done with the Paypal Pro plugin? Does that plugin work with Maestro (which is a common payment method in Belgium/Europe)?
Please advice.
Cheers,
Tom

Hello Tom,
It's fine that you can use PayPal to accept payment for your store now. If you are from Belgium/Europe, I advice you to use EShop Stripe payment plugin to accept payment with credit card.
Please go to www.joomdonation.com/payment-plugins/eshop-payment-plugins.html to purchase it.
Sincerely, Giang

Giang,
I bought and configured the Stripe plugin, but it only proposes credit cards and not the other options I configured in my stripe account (Ideal and Bancontact).
I was under the impression that your plugin would support these options as well (and I really need them).
Is this possible with your Stripe plugin? Or does this require custom development?
Thanks,
Tom

Dear Tom,
I have already answered you via ticket system. Unfortuantely, our Stripe payment plugin does not support other payment options as Ideal and Bancontact now.
Sincerely, Giang
