Different payment options for different categories

I have a question concerning having different payment options for different categories of products or attaching them to the products their selves.

Am using EShop for the site of a small publisher. There are two main categories of books, one is hard copy and the other is digital. For the hard copy books would like to have both PayPal (debit/credit card) and Check / Money Order (formally offline payment) but for digital books would just like to have PayPal (debit/credit card). It seems that Geozones can be used to attach the payment methods but the publisher will only be for USA customers (international customers will be directed to an outsourcer that handles the international orders).

Is there any way to set this up?

I am sorry but currently, we don't have the feature to assign payment plugins for different categories. We only have the feature to assign the payment plugins to the corresponding shipping method.
