Set shipping methods. was created by Carlos Betancourt
I need to configure 2 shipping methods, with the following characteristics:
1. Local Shipping: if the total amount of the order is less than $ 300.00, the shipping will cost $ 50.00, if the total cost is greater than or equal to $ 300.00, shipping is free.
2. Foreign shipping: if the customer wants its products to be shipped outside the city, the system must inform the shipping cost will be calculated later and you will be informed after checking stocks of your order.
Can you help, orienting myself how I can configure the shipping methods?
I appreciate your time and support. A greeting!

Hello Carlos,
Before setting up the shipping options as your requirement, you should create 2 different Geo Zones for Local and Foreign. Please read more about Geo Zones in the documentation here: eshopdocs.joomservices.com/system-manage/geo-zones . After that:
1. You should use Flat Shipping plugin ( eshopdocs.joomservices.com/plugins-and-t...lugins/flat-shipping ) to assign for order is less than $300.00 and Free Shipping plugin ( eshopdocs.joomservices.com/plugins-and-t...lugins/free-shipping ) to assign for order is greater than or equal $300.00. Both of these shipping plugins must be assigned to Local Geo Zone.
2. I am a bit confused about this your requirement. What did you mean for "calculated later"? If so, what's shipping method that customer can choose to complete their order?
Sincerely, Giang

Hello Giang!
Thank you very much for your answer.
With respect to the delivery method # 2, it will work like this:
The customer will lift the order through the website (all products are shown, although no availability).
At the time of the order to be ending, the system must show foreign shipping option (when the shipping address is outside the city).
Foreign shipping option should not include any cost, must specify that the cost of shipping method is to be calculated according to destination and you will be notified when confirming your order stocks.
I hope I explained correctly
I appreciate your time and support!

Hi again Carlos,
In this case, you should use another Free Shipping and assign it for foreign geo zone. I am sending it to you here. Hope that it meet your requirement.
Sincerely, Giang
