Try again a payment after an error was created by Davide
Hi, is possibile to try again a payment after an error? Imagine to make an order and pay with credit card. During the payment there is an error (typing error, non enought money on a prepaid card...), my bank send back the client with an error message and customer see it in index.php?option=com_eshop&view=checkout&layout=failure. Customer in this situation can't try again payment and, if I understand correctly, has to reorder with account option or remake order from scratch. Is correct what I say? Is there a different way or is possibile to add a function in the next release and have in failure page a button to try again the credit card payment? Thanks in advance

Hello Davide,
When payment is failure, the sections are still not lost so the products are still in the cart. Customer simply click on Checkout link to go to Checkout them again.

Thanks. But in this way if the client try 3 times I have 3 different orders, the last completed and 2 waiting? Normaly there is a way to retry using the same order. In next release of EShop is possibile to have at least an option in configuration to identify an error case so is possibile in payment plugin set the order as "Payment error" (now i update the ID but is not dynamic)? So I have 2 order with Error and the last with Completed. Now in configuration there are only options for completed, cancelled and waiting and I have to edit manualy the 2 waiting orders so that customer understand what happens when he watch the order history in his account. Thanks

Unfortunately, that is the way that EShop works now. I will think more about the way to improve that in the future.
