USPS Shipping Problem

Hey guys, I recently bought the USPS shipping plugin, and I have two problems with it.
1. In the settings I selected just FIRST-CLASS MAIL PARCEL, but when I save the plugin, it always adds LETTER and POSTCARD additionally. Is this on purpose?
2. When I am checking out, or getting a quote, all the inf that is pulled from the USPS API gives these extra strings: ^™ or ^®, is there any way to get rid of the  to just leave the trademark and register marks?

I also submitted a ticket on these items. Whatever the fix is it should be posted here so other people can benefit from it without having to submit a ticket. It could save us, and you, time!

I love your support but if it something I can do that would save us both having to deal with another ticket.

Why can't the steps to resolve this be posted here?...why do we all have to submit a ticket to get the same thing fixed since it has not been corrected in the component itself?

I updated the fix to the plugin. Just need to download the latest file of USPS plugin from My Downloads area, then update them to your site and the issue will be resolved.
