EShop version 3.8.0 released - Hello Joomla 5 stable

Dear Customers,

Today, I am happy to announce the next release of EShop Shopping Cart extension, version 3.8.0 with main upgrade to have it fully compatible with Joomla 5. So you can install and use EShop on all of 3 versions of Joomla 3.x, 4.x and 5.x now.

Beside that, there are also some minor improvements which are also included into this release:

- Add a new grid layout for EShop category module.
- Add missed language items for EShop Products module.
- Fix the issue with return link from wishlist view.

So if you have plan to upgrade your site to Joomla 5 or build a new site with Joomla 5 and EShop, please upgrade / use the latest version 3.8.0 of EShop.

I have tried installing 3.8 on a cloned site for testing and have a database error as shown in the image.
eshop_configs does not exit.
Is there a workaround for this?
Site is Joomla 4.4

Doesn't work properly on 5.0. There is a problem, when you try to see/edit product settings (many errors in console), on 4.4 is ok.

Stil no Google Analytics 4 support?
We already start migration to Hikashop. But for others I realy dont know how they manage to run their shops without essential things like GA and coversion metrics.

How does "You need to enable Joomla captcha so that captcha can be used in EShop" work in Joomla 5 when Captcha has been removed from Joomla?

Yes, that's correct. Joomla 5 remove Captcha because it is not really good to prevent spam. So you can disable Captcha from the Configuration of EShop.
