I just built a 1.6 site for a client that now needs registration. I'll subscribe to this topic so that it'll hopefully be updated when 1.6 version is ready. I do have to beg though that you add a new admin field where admins can select which credit cards they take. Then the user select from this list on the front end.
I Just Bought EventBooking and I'm using Joomla 1.6, I know like you said it doesn't work with v1.6 for now. I'm just posting this there to add my voice to the conversation ... I have one question is there a way to install it on v1.6 even if it's not fully functional under 1.6? .
Just thought I'd throw my two cents (and soon order hopefully!) for a Joomla 1.6 compatible Events Booking. I have a client that I'm just beginning to build a site for and this seems perfect for his event registration needs!
I'd be willing to test if any beta testers are needed for 1.6. The site I'm working on won't be live for a while. I'll have plenty of time to click around and try to break things. :laugh:

Joomla 1.6 has some major changes in it coding, so I am still working to make Events Booking compatible with Joomla 1.6. It will take me one more week before the version for Joomla 1.6 released.
