Integrating Membership Pro with Hikashop was created by Jim Barnes
Hello
I would like to sell access to content pages on my site.
I know Membership Pro can do this.
However, I would like to do it from HikaShop as it integrates with AcyMail
Plus I do not want to have multiple paypal gateways as HikaShop already has one.
Does anyone have any suggestions
Your responses are appreciated
Thank You

So Tuan Pham Ngoc
That's a no then?.
Not even a suggestion of a different Joomla shop. Or even a suggestion that it might be possible to do it by changing something.
Thanks, I guess.

Hi Jim
Unfortunately, it is a No
. Right now, we don't have any shop integrated. Modifying it also difficult, so I guess you have to find a different solution

I understand you must be very busy.
I know that sometimes people forget things.
But since your site has a product called e-shop
And since it says in the specifications about e-shop that it has membership pro integration
Then I dont know how you can say " Right now, we don't have any shop integrated."
Come On, Really?

It is integrated but in a different way (not the way you want), that's why I said it is not integrated
Basically, right now, when users sign up in Membership Pro, Membership pro will create a Joomla ccount and also a address record in Eshop so that if that user checkout in Eshop, he won't have to enter address data (billing & shipping address) again.
Hope it is clear to you now

Since AkeebaSubscriptions is no longer being updated and Emerald is over $100 (the only two subscription components currently integrated with Hikashop), you are in the unique position to increase Membership Pro's popularity by creating an integration with Hikashop. I wish you'd consider this opportunity.

Could you please explain more details about how it should work? I will try to work on the integration and make it available in about 2 to 3 weeks from today. It should not too hard

Tuan

Thank you for considering this project. I'm sure a lot of AkeebaSub/HikaShop users will be happy to have this functionality.
Hikashop currently has a way to add a user to a Joomla Group, but has no functionality to remove the person from said group after a specific length of time. The plugin should make it possible to associate a HikaShop Product with a Membership Pro Plan when creating a product. It should allow you to use HikaShop Coupon system and payment gateways and allow all customer data to be collected by HikaShop (if need be shared between the two components). Ideally, it would be nice if the subscription data could be accessed from Hikashop's customer dashboard.
Here is the link to the AkeebaSubscription plugin to get a better idea. www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...a-subscriptions.html
They have two, the first allows all pricing, coupons, and taxes to be handled by HikaShop. This would be my first choice. However, the second lets the subscription program handle that info which also allows for the upgrade rules.
Hopefully this gives you enough info to work with.
