Tax rate

I have upgraded to the latest version as I see there is now an option for tax rates. If enabled does this apply for all events? I have event taking place in several locations. I need to assign a tax rate to only locations in one state. Can this be done? Do I use this tax feature or can I create a custom field and assign it to the events taking place in only this state?

At the moment, the tax is applied to all events. In the next release which we are working on, I will allow you to specify tax rate for individual events.
