Hi,
There is the misunderstand from you here.
In the backend of the module. It is the limit words in the title not limit characters.
For example : hello is one word but it is 5 characters.
If you set 5 words, the module will show the properties with 5 words in the title.

Whats the solution - Should I replace the file - Update js/ajax.js from the latest download of the component?

Its VERY strange indeed
I hope your team start an investigations on the matter.
Ive checked with kunena owners, they mention admin abuse account is the only reason they can think of.
No such bug reported so far.

im very disspointed.

Does that mean I can download the latest version and replace this file? By doing that will it start counting characters instead of words?

Hi Kalesh,
This is the issue of forum. About the limit tile words in the random properties module. I have answered in another topic. That is the different between characters and words.
