New version released: OS Property 2.9.9

The OS Property developer team are proud to announce the release of OS Property 3.0. This is a new release for the 3.0.x series of OS Property and addresses issues introduced in previous versions and introducing new great features like adding new OSP Slideshow, OSP Map modules, Property Statistic page ..etc


What's in 3.0

1. Map module
From OS Property 3.0, map module is included in OS Property package.
You can check demo of Map module from: Demo of Map module

2. OSP Slideshow module

This is new module in OS Property. You can check demo of OSP Slideshow at home page of demo site: osproperty.ext4joomla.com
OSP Slideshow module has been built with better technology of Slideshow module in old OS Property versions. Here are feature of OSP Slideshow

• Responsive layout.
• Easy to configure the place of Property information box
• Pictures of properties will be loaded later than Slideshow module, so thepage loading speed will not be affected.
• Pre-defined parameters: Just need to install and assign the module to specific template position and menu.

3. Manage all properties at front-end
In previous version, properties can only be managed at Back-end side. But from OS Property 3.0, you can manage your properties at front-end. In case one user wants to manage all properties at front-end, he must be assigned the permission Manage all properties at front-end in OS Property system. Then, you can setup menu to layout: Administrator: Mange Properties

And user will able to manage all properties through that layout. He can edit/publish/unpublish/approve/un-approve/change Featured status of properties at front-end.

4. Property Statistic page
From Properties management page (Administrator, Company administrator, Agent edit profile) at front-end, user can view property statistic page.

This view provides necessary information of property

• Number hits
• Number saved
• Other properties of owner

5. Improve loading speed with Lazy Load
One serious problem of previous OS Property versions is loading speed. There are many causes for this problem, but one important reason is that the loading of pictures of real estate properties, and it makes your site slower than usual, especially in properties listing and properties searching pages. In this new OS OS Property version, we introduce library Lazy Load. Lazy Load is delays loading of images in long web pages. Images outside of viewport are not loaded until user scrolls to them. This is opposite of image preloading. Using Lazy Load on long web pages will make the page load faster. In some cases it can also help to reduce server load.

6. Responsive in Properties Comparison page
This is also a new feature of OS Property, displaying information of real estate properties in comparison pages on different screen sizes to help you to reach to more user types, and it also helps your site to work with the online search engines easily.



7. Online documentation
From now on, beside PDF documentation, you can visit to online OS Property documentation from address: osproperty.ext4joomla.com/documentation
We believe this online document will be a useful tool for you in using our OS Property extension alongside other assistance instruments.

8. Other improvement

• Adding Back button in Property Get Direction page
• Add feature to allow user to click on Google map to zoom in/out the map by using mouse wheel in Property details page, user can lock the mouse wheel on the map by clicking on it again.
• Removing Yahoo messenger information in Agent account
• Improve OSP Themes
• Fix error on Ajax upload form at front-end
• Fix error on Companies listing at front-end

As you know, there are various important improvements in OS Property 3.0 so we encourage you to download latest OS Property version to get new improvement. And please update the languages (through Translation tool at Back-end of OS Property) if you are using different language than English.

btw how about the plugins,modules, etc no need to update for this version.?

the process is still like a manual update ,

for the sql update. a single update script can be coded.
Database prefix can be fetched using jclass,

$app = JFactory::getApplication();
$prefix = $app->getCfg('dbprefix');

Previous there is a version number at the backend.
After update there is no version number in the backend.?

Hi,
The reason of this issue is: when you load the translation labes task. You select other language while the page is not complete loading. The problem is the important fields like option, task are in the bottom of the page. If we don't wait the page load completely. It means some important hidden fields won't be shown. And you select another filter. The system will submit the form without some fields (as i said), and the system won't know the task that you are working. The translator page has special form with a lot fields. So, it can't load quickly as other form. Maybe i will change those hidden fields to the top. Hope this issue can be solved.

The filter for backend -language does not work.
i am stuck at the page now.please check before releasing.

This problem is solved when he update files translation.php and translation.html.php in new version.
