Different payment and group admin account

We often have a situation where an organization that wants to sign up for a group account has a separate finance department from the end user who will be managing the group subscription.
The person from the finance department wants to create the account so that they can get the emailed receipts, cancel the plan and or update the credit card but they want someone else with another account to manage the adding and removing of group members.

Is there a way to do this such that receipts go to one email but a different account manages the group members? Even if both accounts have the ability to manage group members that's ok too

Hi Nathan

Unfortunately, it is not possible. There is only a single group admin account which will be used to make payment, renew subscription, managing group members

Is there a way to create a subscription and then link it to a stripe recurring subscription later? This would solve my problem

Yes. To link an existing subscription with a Stripe recurring subscription, you just need to get Subscription ID of the subscription in Stripe and enter it into Subscription ID field of subscription record in Membership Pro and it will be linked

Oh that's perfect for me!

1. What happens if the start/end date in Membership Pro don't match the start/end date in Stripe? Should I just adjust the start/end date in Membership Pro to match Stripe

2. What happens if I try to link multiple accounts to the same subscription?

Hi Nathan

1. Yes. You should adjust the date to match

2. The system will only renew the first account it found. You should not link multiple accounts into the same subscription

One more question.

Does the price of the membership pro plan matter?
My plan is to have a free plan that the user can sign up for and then send them a stripe payment link and link it to the payment later
