List of Countries not alphabetically sorted was created by Diego de Barro Franco e Souza Mello

Hello Tuan,

In my subscriptions forms the list of countries is being presentes in an aleatory way. Please, check the attached image.

How can this be adjusted so that the countries are presented in an alphabetical order?

Hi Diego

The countries are ordered by it's ordering. But the default ordering should be alphabetical, so I do not know why it has that strange ordering

Could you please submit a support ticket so sending us super user account of your site so that I can check the data directly from there?

Hi

Please follow instructions below to get it sorted :

1. Login to administrator area of your site

2. Access to this URL domain.com/administrator/index.php?optio...er_countries_by_name

Replace domain.com/administrator by administrator URL of your site

After that, countries should be ordered by name

Hi Tuan,
the country ordering by a fixed order is really strange - this does not work well if you have a mulitlingual site, like I do. If it displays the correct order for one language, it has a strange order for other languages. It would be great if there would be an option if the countries in the liste are ordered by ordering or by country name.

It is because someone might want to move some important countries to the top. I will make countries ordering configurable in the next release as suggested

OK. I made it configurable. You can access to My Downloads menu item, download latest package, upgrade it to your site. Then go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Country Ordering config option to Name and it will work as you want

Hi Tuan, thank you for your quick reply and component update. If I understand it correcty, you updated the Event Booking component, but my request was for Membership Pro

Hi Sven

The same config option is added for Membership Pro. You can download latest package of Membership Pro, update it to your site. Then go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, change Country Ordering config option to Name and it will work for your need
