Subscriptions Management form was created by Annamarie Hessman
Good morning,
I was teaching our membership managers how to use the front end "Membership Pro » Subscriptions Management" form this morning and noticed a few things.
When using "Add New":
1. I am not sure what happens if they enter a username and password in this form, as required. Does the new site user get notified of their username and password, or only if we have that option turned on in core Joomla! ?
2. When we select a plan, the pricing defaults for that plan remain blank. We would expect the default amounts to populate from the plan selected when we select it.
3. The creation date, the start date and expiration date are not populating when the form is instantiated. While we want to be able to edit them as part of the process, we would expect them to be pre-filled either right when the form is instantiated, or when the plan is selected.
4. When we click "add new" we get an error saying a plan must be selected; however, selecting the plan is part of the edit process. It is a little counter-intuitive to require the plan be selected before Adding, rather than Saving, the new membership.
Thank you.

Hello
1. Normally, password would not be sent. If you want password to be sent to user, you would need to go to Users -> Manager, click on Options button in the toolbar, set Send Password parameter to Yes
2. In Membership Pro, fee calculation is not simple like that. It not only depends on price of the plan but also depends on custom fields value (with custom fee fields....). For existing users, it could be renewal price....
So here, when you add a new subscription records, leave these amount input empty and when the subscription is saved, it will be calculated by system automatically
3. Leave it empty. It will be calculated when the record is saved. For created date, it could be populated automatically when you press New button, but for other dates, it depends on many other factors, so can only be calculated on save
4. In Membership Pro, different plan can have different set of custom fields. That's why we force users to choose a plan first so that the right fields can be displayed on add subscription screen
Hope it answers your questions
Regards,
Tuan
