How to stop sending emails for renewing recurring subscription? was created by Wouter
I am using Membership Pro and Recurring subscriptions.
The recurring subscriptions are set to 12 payments cause I sell a year subscription.
The customer is buying a year subscription. He is paying every month.
But it is not nessesary to send an email every month to tell the customer that the subscription is renewed.
Is it possible to stop these e-mails?
The only mails the customer needs to receive are the first email with information about the subscription and the email to inform the customer that the subscription ends in a couple of days.

Hello
In this case, you will have to go to Membership Pro -> Emails & Messages, empty the text entered into Subscription Renewal User Email Subject parameter
When you do that, the system will stop sending renewal email (when payment for a recurring subscription happens)

OK thanks for your reply.
That's easy.
Now the only thing I need to fix is the issue that the email message when a recurring subscription ends is not send to the customer.
Therefore I am in contact with Tuan. I hope this issue can be fixed soon.

Membership Pro meets almost all my needs.
But I can only start using it live when that last email also works.
Now the customer receives an email for confirmation with the first payment. That payment is made via Mollie with iDEAL.
If recurring payments have been set up, that will also work fine. The SEPA transaction will be processed within a few days and the customer will receive a confirmation email with an invoice for that recurring payment.
But at the end, the customer must be informed that the subscription is about to end.
And that last email does not come.
I do wonder whether this has something to do with SEPA.
Isn't this a counter that is in Membership Pro and that informs the customer that the subscription will end in x days?

There is a counted as you said, but maybe it is not counted properly with SEPA Debit as SEPA works in a different way compare to other payment methods
As mentioned, I will try to check the data and reply you via support ticket
