Enable Users to Disable Further Emails was created by Graham
I apologize if this is somewhere else in the forum, but I couldn't find it.
I am wondering if it's possible for a user to opt out of further emails. I have set up my plans with reminders emails. My concern is that someone who does not wish to continue their membership cannot stop the system from sending the reminders. Is it possible for a user to stop them somehow?

Hello Graham
No, it is not possible. But not sure what's the further emails you are talking about? They will only receive reminder emails one time for their subscription. If they don't renew their subscription, the system won't send reminder emails to them anymore

Thanks for the reply!
I've got our system configured for 3 reminders, 2 reminders a week and then a couple days before it expires, followed by a "sad to see you go" third email a day after it expires. We're supposed to provide unsubscribe capabilities, so when the user gets that first reminder, they should be able to stop the second and third reminder from coming. I think I will have to include something like "If you do not want to receive further emails from us please email admin@mydomain.com" so that I can manually stop the emails, but even then I think I will have to delete their email address from their profile or maybe even delete the user altogether.
Thoughts?
Thanks for you help!

Just empty the email in his subscription record would be enough. Without an email, the system won't send reminder email to him anymore

FYI - the unsubscribe requirement in the USA and Canada is only for unsolicited emails and for newsletters, not for system notices about their account when they're doing business with you.
