Add more currencies?

Hello,

I've set up my default currency (euros) in Membership Pro, but I'm wondering if there's a function like in JoomDonation to add additional currencies and have a drop-down list that people can choose from?

We're using Membership Pro as a monthly sponsorship package for people who want to sponsor our rescued horses, and we have supporters all over the world so having the option of multiple currencies (euro, pound, USD, AUD, etc) is pretty critical.

Also, is there an option to allow people to pay more that the figure we've put for each package? JoomDonation also allows you to do this, but I'm not sure Membership Pro does? (We've moved away from using the recurrent donation feature on JoomDonation because it doesn't integrate with Mailchimp, nor alert people when their recurrent donation is expiring.)

We don't have a way to allow people to choose currencies like in Joom Donation. If you need multiple currencies, you can create different subscription plans (each plan can has it own currency)

For allow people paying more than the price you setup, you can create a textbox custom fee field. See membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/basic-...ox-custom-field-type

Brilliant, I've now added the custom textbox field to allow three different pricing set ups, which has worked perfectly.

However, setting up different plans for different currencies is quite clunky, as this could mean I have five different versions of exactly the same plan displayed on one page, the only difference being the currency. I think that will both look strange and won't be very user friendly.

Is it possible to update Membership Pro to allow the currency selection as in Joom Donation?

Sorry Koren but it is not possible. It is not something Membership Pro is designed for or intend to work, so I could not improve the extension with that feature

Maybe you can try to create a custom field (a List custom field) to allow subscribers to choose currency they want on subscription form, then I can help customizing the PayPal payment plugin (you are using PayPal correct) to pass that selected currency to PayPal. That's all I can help

That's a good idea – thanks. Because yes, we are using Paypal.

So I've added the list custom field – so far I've just put in the Name, Title and Values, as you can see in the first screen shot. The second screen shot shows how it's displaying on the font end page.

What would I need to do from here to get Paypal to understand which currency has been selected?
