Today, we are happy to announce the next release of Membership Pro version 1.6.9. Below are the details of this release:
1. Added support for Group/Family membership feature. Basically:
- Admin can allow group membership for each plan
- When someone subscribe to a group/family membership plan, he can add group members. These groups members will have same access to restricted resources as admin of the group
- Admin can limit number of group members which a group admin can add.
2. Allow each subscription plan to has it own email messages (new subscription email, subscription renewal emails....)
3. Allows auto login subscribers after they complete the subscription (so they can start accessing o restricted resources right after completed payment for the subscription - don't have to access to login form to login)
4. Allows auto update user groups of the subscribers after they completed subscription so that they can start access to restricted resources. In old versions, to get Joomla groups updated, subscribers have to logout and login again.
5. Implement access level for payment plugins: Now, you can choose which user groups can use what payment plugin (sometime, it is needed and useful feature)
6. Allow editing plan specific custom field when editing user profile if the subscriber only signed up for one plan (in old version, user can only edit data for custom fields which are assigned to all plans on profile page)
7. Update Stripe payment plugin to support recurring subscriptions.
8. Some other small improvements to the code + bugs fixes.
