Reset Invoice Number

I would like to know if there is a way to reset the invoice number.

I need to reset it every year!
So, for example if I generate 520 invoices until 31 December, my last invoice will be number IV0520 , but from the 1st of January I need to reset the invoice and start again from number IV0001.

Is that possible? if not, can it be a new feature for next OS Membership release?

It is not available for now but it will be available in the extension for the next release. I think we also need to add the year prefix to the invoice number as well, so instead of IV0001 reset every year, we might have invoice number like that:

IV-2014-0001
IV-2014-0002

IV-2015-0001
IV-2015-0001

Of course that will be optional and you can choose the format you want. But promise it will be there in next release, it is in my todo list already

Yes, sure. The invoice number will be much more flexible than how it works at the moment. Should be available in one month or so, so don't worry.

OK. Just want to inform you that this feature is now implemented in the latest code base of the extension. I will spend this weekend to test it and make sure this feature (and another important feature) works well before making new version releases on Monday
