User to change his/her address from front end was created by President - PCASA
Hi Tuan,
Can you please enable a new functionality? We would like our users to be able to change their postal address from the front end. Currently the only way to do it is to renew their membership and enter new details.
Can there be another way?
Regards

I am looking forward to this feature as well.
You really could have a great competitor to OSE Membership.
I do think your price may be a little low, especially once users can login and change data.
Only thing is, will they be able to buy a subscription themselves?
My purpose of bringing the membership online, is so it becomes automated. Users can login, edit their details, renew their membership and we can generate a report of all their details from the backend.
Thanks
Scott

If it also could edit the data in community builder or community builder could update OS membership. (two way communication) it would be great.
But this is probably planned with this, and with the CB profile tab?

I think we can update data to Community Builder when users update their profile but we won't update data from Community Builder to OS Membership when someone edits their data in OS Membership,

Hi Trevor
Yes. You can simply create a menu item to link to "User Profile" view of Membership Pro. After that, users can access to that menu item to edit his profile.

Tuan

Tuan,
I want to wake this issue back up. I need to fix MP and CB integration some how. Currently we have old system records that came from CB (address, car model, custom fields) and they went into both into CB and MP.
Since this is a new site with 3000 users data migrated in I need to be sure I am doing the implementation correctly.
The users can edit both their personal profile and their user subscription info and they do not match
Are you doing any update to make tighter integration of MP and CB?

Hi Tracy
I believe in latest version of Membership Pro (version 1.6.3), Membership Pro has a very tight integration with CB:
1. You can make a menu item to link to Membership Pro file view of Membership Pro.
2. Make sure you publish the plugin "OS Membership - CB plugin"
3. Now when users go to his profile and update his data, these data will be syncronized back to CB (you will also need to go to Membership Pro -> Custom Fields, make sure you mapped the correct fields from Membership Pro with the fields in CB).
Regards,
Tuan
