Membership pro

Hi
I already have DMS and I'm satisfied with it
Now I would like to have a system that allows users to buy documents but to buy support too.
I think about Membership pro to do this,
1 plan for the document (need I to pay for edocman too ?)
1 plan to access to a menu link for a specific form or ticket.


In all your products, how do you mean it would be the best to achieve this ?
- Membership pro + eDocman ?
- Membership pro + eDocman + Support tickets ?
- else ?

And final questions, how does the tax system work ? and why DMS has not this feature ?

Then the solution would be using Membership Pro + a support ticket extension (don't use OS Tickets, it is not compatible with Joomla 2.5 yet). The solution is :

1. Create a membership plan for users to buy Documents. Config the extension so that when users subscribe to this subscription plan, assign it to a specific Joomla Group (a child of Registered Group) . Then config DMS so that users from this group will get 100% discount. By doing that, when users subscribe to this plan, they can download Documents from DMS without having to pay for it again .

2. Create a membershio plan for users to submit support tickets. Setup the plan (using URLS plugin comes with Membership Pro) so that they can only access to support ticket form if they are subscriber of this subscription plan .

3. The tax right now is simple. It is just a flat tax rate. You can set it to a fixed amount or by percent. After that, the tax amount will be added to tal amount users have to pay .

So just to be clear, I would use Membership Pro in addition to Document Seller ?
This means that I can add the Membership Pro functionnalities to my actual DMS structure ?

just a question, why is Membership Pro not in the JED ?

It is still pending on the JED . It was submitted to JED more than 2 months ago, then JED team asked us to rename it (It was named at OS Membership) . We changed the name but it still hasn't approved yet .

Right now, I am writing tutorial document for using the extension. It might take me 2 days to complete it. So you can start using it, if you have any questions, doesn't hesitate to ask and I will reply !
