Donation receipt not send. Error: Could not access file: /html/...

Hello,

when i make a donation, i get the following Error in the Frontend:

Could not access file: /html/everforest.de/media/com_jdonation/receipts/donation_0004.pdf

The new file IV202200000.pdf has been created in this directory. "IV2022" is the configured Invoice Prefix. The Invoice Start Number ist configured to "1000". In the wrong named file IV202200000.pdf are only some words, which I have set as a test.

Whats wrong here? Why the file donation_0004.pdf is expected. Why are no donate information in the receipt.

i tested it, and it works not without problems.
I make a offline donation and no receipt is in the email-attachment. I made some tests, and only after the first test a pdf-file was created. But the file is empty.
Please look again for the problem. You can still use the login data.

I see that the input fields in the frontend are better designed. What was the problem here?

Hi Stephan,
The donation receipt will just created when user make the payment. With offline payment, the default status is Unpaid, so that, the invoice won't be created. You will need to update the Paid status of donation record from Backend -> Donors before the invoice is created.
By the way, the invoice content (configured in Configuration page) is empty currently, so that, you will receive the empty invoice. If you want, we will help you to add the invoice content (in original Joom Donation extension) for you.

Hi Dam,
i have configured "Generate Invoice For Paid Donation Only" to NO, So I expected a receipt to be generated even for offline payments. I still confirmed the receipt of the payment in the administration and no receipt was created.

Where can I find the variables that can be used in the Donation receipt layout? I would be grateful if you can help here and make the basic entries according to, as you write "original Joom Donation extension".

Hi Dam,
when you are in the configuration, please additionally look in "Custom Fields" for the field "organization". The field is configured as not required. However, it must be filled in the frontend.

If you want to make the field not required, please open that field for modifying, and select No at field: Required, because Joom Donation will need to clear the "Validator" CSS class for that field
