The Joom Donation developer team are proud to announce the release of Joom Donation 5.8.1. This is a second release for the 5.8.x series of Joom Donation with new improvement and addresses issues introduced in previous versions.

What new in Joom Donation 5.8.1

1. Emails log
From this version, we are introducing a new feature: Email logs, it allows you to track the emails that are already sent by Joom Donation. To enable this feature, please turn on JD configure option: Emails Log in Joom Donation Configuration page -> Tab: Emails & Messages
After that, you can see the emails log through menu Tools -> Email Logs

In the email log, you can see the content of the email too.


2. Improve Custom fields feature
- Place-holder is multilingual now, and it will be used to show in fields of Simple donation form
- Field description will be shown in tooltip in Default donation form, and above/under fields in Simple donation form
Note: In new version, we have new configure option: Field description to allow you to choose the description of field will be shown above/under/not showing in Simple donation form


3. Invoice PDF fonts
From this version, you will able to select font for your PDF Invoice. In case the PDF Invoice doesn't support your language, please contact us, and we will send you the corresponding PDF fonts.

4. Fix issue on Custom field: File Upload

5. Remove Google plus in Social sharing

6. Add honoree information in Donation Export (CSV)
