[SOLVED] Not redirecting to PayPal

In step 2 of the Donation process the component is contacting PayPal. However, the user is just redirected to the frontpage? A PayPal page is not shown...

I have just looked at your site . The problem is very strange and may cause by php version . Please give us FTP account so that I can check and fix it for you soon.

The problem is that your server is using php4 , not php5 ( php5 is recommended for Joomla 1.5 )
Anyway, I fixed the issue . Please go to your site and check it now .

OK, I see. I didn't even realize that the server was php4. The server is hosted by a hosting company. I know I can upgrade, if I want to. Will Jdonation work if I someday ask the webhosting company to upgrade from php4 to php5?

But.... still one question...

I now wanted to test if it works, so I tried to give a donation using my VISA credit card, which I use all the time (also at PayPal). When I press "Pay now" PayPal says:

"You must either create a PayPal account or use a different credit or debit card to complete this transaction."?

I have never seen that before? Can that have anything to do with the JDonation component?

The extension will still work when the hosting from php version 4 and php version 5 .
Regarding your VISA credit card issue, the payment is handled by paypal , not our extension so it is a problem with Paypal . You can create a paypal for testing and it will work properly .
