German translation was created by Chris
Hi again!

I got some strange and funny German translations in the language file

ESHOP_TAB1_TITLE="Tab 1 VERZEHREMPFEHLUNG"
ESHOP_TAB1_CONTENT="VERZEHREMPFEHLUNG Inhalt"
ESHOP_TAB2_TITLE="Tab 2 HINWEISE"
ESHOP_TAB2_CONTENT="HINWEISE Inhalt"
ESHOP_TAB3_TITLE="Tab 3 NÄHRWERTTABELLE"
ESHOP_TAB3_CONTENT="NÄHRWERTTABELLE Inhalt"
ESHOP_TAB4_TITLE="Tab 4 Title"
ESHOP_TAB4_CONTENT="Tab 4 Content"
ESHOP_TAB5_TITLE="Tab 5 Title"
ESHOP_TAB5_CONTENT="Tab 5 Content"

It seems that someone has translated this from a food shop (e.g. NÄHRWERTTABELLE means NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION)

There are also some translations which look like automatic translations - not really wrong but disturbing and not a clean, good German.

Because I'm already setting up my new shop and correcting some German terms I would purpose you to send you a better German version.

How can I send you corrections of the German language files?

Is it ok if I translate the files in eshop-german-translation.zip? Are these all needed files?

Best regards,
Chris

P.S.: For the few terms above: correct German would be "Tab 1 Titel" and "Tab 1 Inhalt" etc.

Hello Chris,

Thank you for this. I will check and maybe update the EShop German language package to make it correct and better.

Hi Giang,

may be you can wait a few weeks. I'm currently translating missing terms and correcting existing ones for the complete language files.

If you like I can e-mail them to you after I'm finished. Then you have a real good translation from a native German ;-)

Best regards,
Chris

Dear Chris,

That's great. I think that's OK. Once you complete it, please just send it to me. You can post it here or email to us at services@joomdonation.com
